Dear All,

There is a unique training opportunity for both youth and adults involved in youth ministry. It's a two-day event called Youth Ministry Lab (website link). It will be held on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Seminary from April 3rd, 6 pm - 10 pm and April 4th 9 am - 3:30 pm. For those not familiar, this is an annual workshop training/conference the youth ministry has gone to for the past few years. It is designed to have different tracks for adult volunteers, parents, student leadership, praise band, and others so that training is targeted for those specific areas. This year's workshops have been updated and are a "hand-on" training approach, appropriate for youth, parents, and adult volunteers. Here's a list of the workshops:

Student Praise Band - For youth involved in the praise band.

Student Leadership - For youth servant team to help build leadership skills.

Volunteer Leaders - For adult volunteers (Sponsors, Teachers, Parents, etc) directly involved with youth events, ministries, Bible studies, teaching, etc.

Parent Ministry Champions - For parents and adult volunteers wanting to develop a parent ministry team, to promote healthier families and help parents disciple their own teenagers.

Girls Ministry - For adult volunteers desiring to plan a ministry uniquely suited for girls. (only Saturday sessions)

There is more information on their website so I suggest looking over more of the details and see if any of these suits you. Please get back to me if you are interested in attending and which track you wish to attend by March 8th.
